On Father's Day, we were all on our way to breakfast with Remberto's father when our suburban blew a tire. We safely parked at a nearby gas station, but couldn't find the lift kit in the car. Luckily we were in 2 cars AND somewhat still close to home, so Remberto drove back home to get the lift kit from his truck to bring back and use to lift the suburban so he could change the tire.

While Remberto was gone, I waited patiently with the kids. We noticed someone at the gas station had called 911 and an ambulance and fire truck showed up--sirens blaring. I immediately recognized one of the fire department paramedics from 10 years ago. He also recognized me and as soon as he was done attending to the patient, he brought over all the firemen to say hi to the kids and take a picture with Sidney.

The firemen quickly noticed my flat tire and the captain said he had the same suburban and was able to quickly find the lift kit in the car under a console we never even knew about! Long story short, the firemen began changing my tire before Remberto was even back!

Sidney even got a VIP tour of a fire engine!

We're Going to Disneyland!

The entire Candelario Crew recently took Disneyland by storm. We managed to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure in ONE day...one LONG day. Here is a glance at our day.....

The Monsters, Inc. ride was the highlight of Sidney's WHOLE day. She LOVES the movie. She specifically asked for her picture to be taken with the "bad guy", Randall
