More Firsts...

Remberto and I just spent our first, completely OVER-NIGHT, alone together since Sidney was born. Thanks to Johnny and Christine (whose wedding we attended) and thanks to parents who watched the 4 kids...we got to spend a nice evening without kid duties!!!

Bride and Groom (obviously)

A New Routine

Since I have recently returned to work (outside of the home) I haven't had a chance to blog as much!  So...to update our readers...I have been back to PAID work for a couple weeks now. Thus, our family has gone through quite a few significant scheduling changes. We have worked into a new routine and are all adjusting just fine.

One of the major things Remberto and I had to decide on was where Sidney would spend her mornings and afternoons. I was lucky enough to be home for 90% of her first 2 years so this change was a big one. He and I felt that a small, in-home daycare setting would be best for Sidney at this stage in her development so we met with a couple different providers and settled on Miss Gail. We loved her set-up from the moment we walked in the door and we noticed that Sidney enjoyed being there as well. Currently, Miss Gail cares for twin 2 year old girls, also, which was a perfect age range for Sidney! In the past couple weeks, Sidney has done real well with the transition and seems to really enjoy going to play and learn with Miss Gail.  Below are a few pictures from Gail's house.

Here are a couple pictures of Sidney all dressed for her FIRST day with Miss Gail...

And...here are a couple pics of the things Sidney has worked on with Miss Gail...

I just LOVE this "ghost" footprint.

Evening at Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES DODGERS SALUTE THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY

SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT DURING PRE-GAME CEREMONIES

OCTOBER 1st, 2010

The Los Angeles Dodgers dedicated their pre-game ceremony to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The ceremony honored the Department’s 2010 Medal of Valor and Meritorious Conduct Award recipients and included their color guard performing the opening flag ceremony. More than 300 Sheriff’s Department members and their guests were in attendance.

Sidney, Remberto's sister, Lucy, and the "Man of the Hour" himself.  :)

Sidney participated in her first "wave" during the game (with her first cotton candy experience in her mouth, too)

Aren't I Pretty?

It was a bit too quiet one morning and I soon found out why...

Sidney was putting on some eyshadow!
